Mosquito Waterfall is another beautiful attraction of the Chapada Diamantina. Located at the end of a small canyon, it provides a wonderful place to bathe and a beautiful landscape. The waterfall was named by the miners who found many tiny diamonds, which were called “mosquitos”.
Morro do Pai Inácio
The view from Pai Inácio is one of the most famous postcards of the Chapada Diamantina. At a height of 250m, it has a magical 360 degree view of its ‘neighbours’: Morro do Camelo, Morrão, the Capão Valley and the beautiful green hills (below). Full of mysteries and legends, it is the perfect setting to end the day and enjoy the mystical sunset.
